Pratunam jam like crazy anytime of the day. I took bts.alight 2 station before Siam..cant rem the name..then slowly walk to hotel.it really depends where u stay..

My longest walk is from Hua Lamphong MRT to yaowarat and continue walking + shopping.

Is it cheaper to book klook airport pickup or take a taxi from the airport for 4 adults going to Pratunam area? Arriving Bangkok ard 1pm.

If take a taxi, should be about 400+b ...
if u use klook, might want to check out if they have discount ...
klook airport transfer usually have restrictions on the number of baggages ...

If u have 4 adults, normal taxi might not be enough if u have many luggages.
you can consider taking a bigger taxi. if u book from drivers on tripadvisor, price is about 700b one way ...

Thanks for quick reply. Max is 2 large luggage. Usually how long is the journey? If very bad traffic jam, might be better to take the airport link and alight at ratchaprarop station, then take taxi.

At ratchaprarop station, if lift spoil good luck to you.
Take taxi about 45 mins depend on jam.

If u suay, some of the taxi, the back boot only can put in one large luggage.
if u change taxi for a short distance with your luggage, most would carrot head you ... perhaps ask you for 200b , due to the bad traffic jam ...

only one lift, most of the times must wait second round ...

if go airport, usually avoid arl ...
from phya thai to ratchapraprop, no seats most likely ...
have to stand for that 30 mins or so ... unless take to phya thai and then to airport

Not much to bring since it is cheap to shop most stuff there, luggage will be light. Yes, a bit troublesome if lift not working. I have taken the airport link to Ratchaprarop station number of times already, either walk or cab short distance to hotel.

Friends taken metered taxi from bangkok airport
by meter, not sure why the price is so expensive ...
price is about 700+ excluding toll charges to sathorn area ...

if book your own driver is 700b ...
for grab, normal car is about 400+ to 500+ excluding toll charges
for bigger car, price might be more than 700b ..

bigger taxi is also by meter ... however, seems like their meter rate seems higher ... by meter, after reaching the second toll, the price is already about 500b ...

Depends on where you stay ... normally if stay at riverside area which is further away ... by normal taxi should be 500b at least ...
by grab is about 550+b also ... excluding toll charges ...
instead, we would book a toyota innova 650 to 700b ...
