Under budget is because he got no Budget in the first place ba. Honestly how much could Bkk cost. Give you 5 days also maybe 1.5 - 2k max

Ignore TS bah. He will come in once in a while to complain about how bad BKK is and how he will never return again. Just let him be. One less person eyeing to go BKK may mean better deals for us.

TS honestly just wasting everyone's time when asking for advice. Considering how he doesn't know what are the norms in travel, I doubt he is well-travelled enough to make judgement. He should have just planned his leave better and spent his money wiser to have a good trip. I am more keen to hear his reviews of his other trips now.

haha 2k max depend on how you travel i guess and what you do over in bkk.

ticket say full flight on the high side - $300

hotel say 4 - 5 nights [ depending on what kind of hotel you stay ] - $350 - $400

Eat shop massage and drink - $800

also only hit $1.5k

Actually I was thinking if you had meant 2 pax and it is already considered ex. $1.5k per person for a 4-5 days BKK trip sounds about what I thought one will at least spend. =X

Restrict yourself this and that ? Go overseas is to enjoy yourself and not to make yourself pathetic. This cannot do that cannot do.

Normally would lower my budget on air ticket and hotel accomodations ...
Trying to keep my air ticket to Bangkok below $100 and Taipei below $85 on average ...
Dining and shopping wise can be slightly more ...

Since flight to bkk only 2 hours, would usually fly budget... unless full fledged have below $200 promo deals ... For hotel , usually would book those on special promos ...
