there's few major supermarket in bangkok
mainly Big c, tesco, tops supermarket

personally think big c is the best, as they always have member discount
such as spend 2000b would save 200b in ur next purchase

what did u all guys think ?

Tax Refund:
once u spent 2000b in a single receipt, u can claim for vat refund
just bring your passport to cs counter, then show ur receipt
the procedure takes around 15min if there is long queue

then get the document to the airport before immigration counter to endorse
then go to the tax refund area to get your document endorse again
then u will get bcak ur refund

have spent 2000+ before, then eventually get back 3sgd lol
so is worth if u buy lots of things at big c , or other place where u can claim ur vat refund

interesting thanks! will swing by on my next trip. looks like wholesales supermarket concept. IMM (SG) also started this way but becomes shopping mall eventually.

hope to find cheaper imported food stuffs, siam paragon imported stuffs are often more expensive than SG

Makro is really cheaper. When I am there, I stay with my relatives in Bangna area. Not too sure if they are members or not. But no one stop me when I just walked in...

oni know big c pricing:
one set 6bottle 42cc bird nest is 525b
big one 75cc is 800+ b

chicken essence the chong cao one is abt 650b for 24 bottles
think chicken essence can also buy from jb
watsons in jb 30bottle is abt 145myr ...

especially imported premium food stuffs like angus, wagyu steak

If u want good premium beef at reasonable pricing, try El Gaucho. It sells meat for takeaway or u can eat there.

have shuttle bus to chong nonsi bts, central rama 3 ...

book during glitch price, 45m2 suite with bath tub and breakfast for 40sgd per nite for two, usual price is 120sgd per nite hehe ...
then we booked 2rooms, we got upgraded to 2bedroom 140m2, big size ... the hotel have 700+ rooms, is those apartment type

glitch price only happen few minutes, or even few hours, selected dates only

checked 10+ times each day, within 6 mths u might find a glitch
