I ordered the new nook and the order process has some problems saying Unable toprocess order. Please call 1-877-379-0036, or 212-414-6024, if outside U.S.

But when i click check your order under details it says: In Process: Not Yet Shipped

I have emailed them a few times but nothing happen...

What do i do now?

Finally finished reading all the posts since yesterday!!

I really want to get one cos hate to lug thick books wherever i go....

Anyway, hope to clarify a LOT of things with the bros and sis here:

1. Is it safe to order from Amazon instead?

2. If i order from BnN, understand all the procedures, ship via Vpost etc...in the event i receive the email "Unable toprocess order. Please call 1-877-379-0036, or 212-414-6024, if outside U.S." do i really need to call them or can just email?

3. Once i get the Nook, MUST die die register for an account with BnN?? If die die must register, i can do it on my lappie instead?

4. If i am not buying ebooks from BnN, i do not need to install HSS?

5. What's the calibre thing? For converting purposes?

6. Those ebooks that are in epub format or pdb, i can buy and transfer to my nook easily? DRM protected - how to unprotect and transfer?

Need a lot of clarifications b4 i go ahead with the BIG plan...hahaha.

question: some children's books eg: Green Eggs & Ham are sold as Nookapps.

Can these be shared between Nooks? Also what is the app policy if you change your Nook, can you move the Nook apps over?

Yesterday received an email from B&N saying that my Nook will be delayed because of shortage in supply....jin moody...

Then few hours later received another email from B&N saying that my Nook has been shipped!

Did you ask them to buy the nook book or the egift card? Do you have to give them access to your account or can they gift the book to your account?
