Bas.MY using apple pay

Anyone successful used apple pay with mari debit card to pay for bas.MY? It keeps on saying transaction failed and I have to exchange coins to take the bus.

Carry your physical card.

Google Pay works fine after authenticating.

If too much hassle for you just take grab? Didn't know apple user so poor need take bus... interesting.
