Last question guys, how do u say "excuse me, where is the gents"

Toilet got a few names
トイレ:to-i-re - Direct translation of toilet
お手洗い (おてあらい): o-te-a-ra-i - Washroom, also means toilet to Japanese.
便所 (べんじょ): be-n-jyo: This is a coarse way of saying toilet

based on experience, the only problem is if we start talking in Japanese, the Jap people will start blabbering back in Japanese (which most likely we do not understand)...so at the end of day, most likely end up talking in English

[dimitri_can]

Hi Panerex,

This is the reason why i put down some of expected replies in my blog.
If you are in Tokyo, still can use English. But if you go to places like Osaka or Kyoto, English might prove to be difficult. Good luck. (^_^)
