i just watched... some more is ultimate edition... heng i neh waste $$ watch in cinema... i almost fell asleep watching this....

agree with much of your review... although i didn't find the final battle to be that good because i already like lost interest with the whole movie by then...

the only thing good in the movie is wonder woman... i think gal gadot makes a good wonder woman... she got the look...

the lex luthor is more like mentally retarded than psychopath... i can't stand his speeches/monologues that are incoherent and don't make sense... and batman is evil through out the movie until he suddenly "turned good" and become superman's ally when he learnt that superman's mum has same name as his mum... i was like WTF... :s22::s22::s22:

and better still... without any investigation batman immediately know where to find superman's mum... whereas superman couldn't (and i tot superman supposed to have x-ray vision and can hear things far away)...

and i dunno wat's the point with all the slo-mo sequences... like the opening scene showing batman's parents getting killed also need to be in slo-mo... like making it slo-mo means it'll be more dramatic... to me the unnecessary slo-mo simply prolong the boredom... :s8:

my ratings for BvS is 5/10...

wacky

I have watched the movie and the extended dvd.

the movie was cut so much the show was 2.5 hrs. the extended version was about 3. I would say watch the extended dvd version has it has more scenes showing how lex luthor plotted everything to bring superman down. a lot of lois lane discovery on the bullet was also cut. there is even a post mortem forensics done on the wheel chair of legless guy which was cut out from the movie.

well the superman from man of steel to this movie introduce a novice superhero. he himself was unsure of what he does is correct or not till the point he don't want to care anymore. that is why he is not careful in breaking things unlike the superman we knew. it take sometime for him to grow up perhaps in MOS2?

because they are tying to make this into a batman film, due to the flop of Man of Steel and the success of Nolan Batman.

But i agree with you, if the cut scenes are intact, the movie is not so bad imho, it at least explain a lot on Both Superman & Batman motivation on why they do what they did, Superman wanting to stop batman & batman on stopping/killing superman.
