IMO Chris Nolan's Batman trilogy was by far the best, plot was better than the MCU universe.

How come Singapore never showcase Mad Max Fury Road? damn, that movie was awesome, but no one seemed to bother about it.

only like the 2nd movie..

and because of joker.

In batman movies is ok. But in justice league movie these villains will be gone in a minute?

Sent from LGE LG-H815 using GAGT

Probably, but still have quite a few who can hold their own like Ra's Al Ghul, deathstroke, deadshot, bane and the joker, just to name a few. Why they're all a challenge for the batman is because they're so smart and can devise good plans to reach their goals.

Except for the joker. You need to be a mad man to stop the joker.

Nolan's Batman trilogy is quite on par with Marvel's Captain America movies. If Civil Wars is as good as Winter Soldier both can be consider the best superhero trilogy

Superman vs Lex Luthor/Doomsday should have been a seperate movie of its own, then a post credit scene with Batman
Then a standalone Batman movie which also set up Batman's origin and maybe fight some villain

followed by a proper Batman v Superman movie.

But yet this movie mix all 3 together. And also Wonder Woman who got nothing to do with the story except to tease future movies.

DC got many good villains but almost all of them are Batman villains. scarecrow, mr freeze, joker, croc, hugo strange, bane, hush, black mask, mad hatter, penguin, riddler, two-face, firefly, deadshot etc. actually I know most of them are playing Batman Arkham games

I actually enjoyed the movie, least it kept me glued to the screen.

I think the reviews were from the fanboyz.... who expect too much

Sounds like you want dc to follow marvel's formula, not that there's anything wrong with it, but I don't see anything wrong with dc's adaptation also. Well, one man's meat is another man's poison.

I just like how they portray the global repercussions around the world after they found out that there are aliens out there and are doing something about it, unlike marvel where it's like only shield knows about it and the normal people go about their daily lives like as if the battle of New York didn't happen.

Anyway I think people are done to death about batman's origin already la, just like how people are sick of Uncle Ben dying for spiderman again :s13:

I'm just Glad that the spiderman in civil war is an established one. Just gonna wonder how they gonna bring him in, seeing as he wasn't around for the battle of New York and all.

For me I think it about 6.5/10. Saving grace is when Wonder Woman came to save Batman and using her ultimate on doomday.
If the story is trying to create that batman is very tired of fighting crime without killing then I feel they failed quite badly.
The whole of the plot doesn't give me the impact why batman must fight or even kill superman. Even my wife who usually won't fall aslp in movie fallen aslp.

I think DC have some nice heroes. In terms of super heavy weights, they will not lose out to Marvel but in terms of enemies, from the comics, how many from DC are actually really strong on their own?

I mean those that can cause massive destructions, not thugs/criminals level.
I can only think of:
Darkseid, Doomsday, Brainiac.. anymore?

This I got to agree, Winter Soldier is one of the better one from marvel. If Civil War is going to be as good as Winter Soldier. Then I really looking forward to Infinity War directed (rumors) by Russo brothers.

Probably only Batman villians are normal human without special super powers. If meet marvel villains, kena pwn Gao gao.
lex luthor oso have no super powers.
it seems that superman is being pwned by rich people. (batman n lex luthor)

the government should have given lex the death sentence. for destroying/killing so many ppl. no logic

well we gave DC a chance to see if their method works too with Batman v Superman...but it didn't work :o I dont mind them following Marvel method. If they dont want to follow Marvel method, because they feel their own way is also good enough or better then sure go ahead. But right now it feels like they do it just for the sake of being different.

The Superman vs Doomsday/Lex Luthor (lets say Man of Steel 2) can maybe fight into Gotham a bit, destroy the Blackgate prison accidentally & some prisoners including Deadshot/Croc escape. Then post credit scene show Batman handing some captured prisoners to the police (some villains like Blackmask or Sal Maroni can cameo as the captured prisoners) then Batman get angry at Superman. Then the movie can establish the public resentment against Superman

I think the Batman origin is optional. But still it will be better if we have a standalone Batman movie first to lay the foundation. Maybe Batman continue hunting down Deadshot/Croc (who escaped in MoS2) and a main villain (maybe Hugo Strange). Then ending only Hugo Strange die, while Deadshot/Croc got thrown back into prison. This way it introduce 2 SS villains (for SS movie), establish Batman's rivalry with them (which can continue in SS movie), link up with the MoS2, and also help audience familiarize this version of Batman.

Then a proper Batman V Superman which focus only on Batman and Superman, with Wonder Woman being written more into the story.

i think in terms of powerful villains beside the one you mention

i can only think of Bizarro :s13:

That one I also thought of... but he isn't as disastrous as the ones I listed whereby you need more than just Superman to handle.

On the other hand, the supervillains in Marvel need the heroes to band together to win, sometimes still fail and many die. Like Thanos, Galactus, Ultron, Onslaught.

I also think Marvel have better individual story arcs / series in their comics which seem more majestic & overwhelming in scale.

mad max fury road was shown in sg when it released and got very good response. even after it ended, golden village re-screened it again at cheaper rate. quite alot edmwers also recommended it.
