the box office so far good anot....i see not many ppl watch this weekend

Don't worry lah, turtle ninja and transformer get so many farts from their fansee still make enough profits to come out with sequels.

Think BvS should make even more in box office cause even though moi ish very disappointed with the moobie not lespecting the fansee like MCU did but if ignore the fansee feeling and just watch as a totally non-superman non-batman related moobie ish still a decent syfi action film lah. So moi think still got chance to do better than transformers and turtle ninja film.

I thought was quite good. Coz maybe I not comic nerd, no need think too much. Someone mentioned this movie more like graphic novel. Quite true coz in a way similar to Watchmen. Thats why alot of ppl don't like that too. Less action more talking. The graphic novel was much better though.

if like that then civil war will be worst? civil war in name nia

Most fansee can accept some differences\twist\cuts in plots since it ish not always possible to squeeze everything in few hours moobie, just like now fansee understand why lotR novel miss out many class scenes from novels.

But most fansee cannot accept the personality and characteristic or even the race and sex of their heroes to be anyhow change mah. Imagine if Gandalf in LotR ish being portrayed as a blur idiot black dude and Aragorn a murderous maniac that talk like redneck. The LotR fansee sure flip table. :(

Civil War even if the story ish too different or not as good but if the characters still stay true in their personality and alignment as in the comics, moi believe the backlash from fansee will not be that bad lah.

Baron Mordo is black and the Ancient one is a female in the Dr Strange movie, vastly different from the comic. will fans boycott and rage as well? Heimdall is white in the comic, yet black in the MCU. i dont see why race and sex has to be an issue in a comic adaptation as long as the directors and producers think that they can portray the character that they want well. fyi perry white appeared black in a white superman animated movies back in the days as well.

personality wise, i believe that it is up to the scriptwriter and director to how they want the character to be, to best fit the story and to move the story forward in the direction they want to. maybe we do not recognize the heroes we know so well on the screen now, but as they continue to grow and develop as well as go through events that shape them, maybe they will become the heroes we know them to be.

the way i see it, Marvel's take on their franchise is to have a self contained stand alone movies with one or two references to another event, then once in a while have some all star line up come together. DC's way is to create one big story at one go. The nearest analogy i can find is to use empire's strikes back or Jedi returns. you watch just one, you wouldnt know whats going on. you watch from the beginning, you'll get the full picture.

honestly i have no problems with both DC's and Marvel's movies. when i go in and watch, i try to watch without the knowledge of the comics, because i know they will be a burden to me and hold me back. i know the characters will be different from the comics. if they had wanted the exact same character, then might as well get the writers of the comics to write and direct. I'm just glad that we're living in an age where we can see our superheroes are on the big screen.

anyway tim burton's batman also kill so many goons but before nolan, people say thats the best batman movie also :s13:

Age of Ultron was damn horrible leh lol.

Why horrible leh ? Actually no matter how horrible Age of Ultron is at the very least the story line flows smoothly with tons of jokes and action compare to Batman V Superman.

You don't have to see Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice http:// www.polygon.com/2016/3/24/11299874/you-dont-have-to-see-batman-v-superman-dawn-of-justice
There were massive amounts of caterwauling from comic fans about Snyder's mishandling of Superman last time around, but it wasn't enough to take the franchise out of his hands. Maybe it's because we all still bought tickets? I know I did. Maybe diehard fans avoiding the money won't move the needle, and that's OK. I'm not talking a boycott, I'm talking about you, the reader, and how you decide to spend your valuable time and money.

If I sound preachy or paternalistic, you have my apologies. As unsettling and embarrassing as it is to admit it, the above words are relatively new revelations for me. Hand to God: It has only today clicked for me that I'm not being forced to see this movie. I have to imagine you're a stronger-willed person than me who obviously wouldn't pay to see a film without stopping to think if they really wanted to.

But if not, if you, like me, hadn't really considered not seeing Batman v Superman until you were genuinely faced with the prospect of paying to do so, just know that you're in good company.
