Is it really that bad

First half is bit bored. 2nd half okay. The batman vs superman fight ending is sexpected.

With prep time batman always win

this time of movie must really pay attention to the dialogue one. daft sinkies wont be able to understand, just like how they dont understand deadpool.

in one scene, Alfred remarked that Bruce has changed, that he wasn't the same batman that he was before, perhaps due to how robin got killed by the joker. him beating superman and then superman mentioning martha, though merely a coincidence that their mothers share the same name, finally woke batman up that he has strayed too far from the path that he originally started out. those flashbacks and his frequent visit to his parent's tomb is meant to show that even til now, he hasn't gotten over his parent's murder.

in a way, superman was the hope and light that brought batman back from astray, going back to the line that lois said that the S means hope, even if its just to one person.

lots of dark knight returns scene here, like for example when superman was recovered by the sun's light, and when batman confront KGBeast and the whole dialogue, ending with batman saying I believe you. fyi in the comic, it was implied he shot and killed the man who took the hostage. but KGBeast in the film died anyway from the explosion lol.

just watch the show. I would say its a good show

its not suitable for kids though, the story abit dark for them.

kids like marvel because of the bright fancy colors and easy storyline.

Superheroes movies dun have to always be funni, have fancy colors/easy storyline. Unless, $ is the objective to attract younger crowd.

Comics storyline can be dark, gritty & serious which is why adults read them like a treasure.

BvS could have been the movie that totally kill MCU, it juz need better script and editing. But its visuals & comic book elements are on point, totally like them!

Don't think he has time to prep leh, that time already sai goon liao, still got mood to change mask. Also he kena beaten to pulp by superman already, mask broke liao but no bleeding or wound on the face. That's amazing!

Every critics reviewed based on MCU universe standard...of coz chui la. They expect humor and stuffs but DCEM is going for serious and dark tones.

Have to admit BvS suffers a lot based on story flow but that doesnt mean it sux totally.

Most ppl forget Avengers had no. of movies to setup the universe and plot.

While DC is too impatient/ambious imo, they used BvS to set up the entire JL universe. Too much things to show and thus story-telling suffers.

No, they probably compared it to Nolan's Batman trilogy, so your point is moot.

I think it maybe the producers fault, usually want this want that, story gets shiat on to get those things in.

I kinda enjoyed it, although there were too many things happening it becomes messier than mos. mos is not bad as it is focused on zod and superman.
