Recently I realised that my battery life can drop to 95% even if I am connected to power all the time. Anyone know why and what happened?

How long have you been using the device?

My 11 month old iPhone has the battery dropped to 96% recently. After a day of usage, my battery life averages about 70% at the end of the day and I charge it every night.

My 1 years+ MBP has a lower charge compared to when it was new despite the charge cycle is pretty low.

As time goes, the battery has its own wear and tear.

Sometimes they will discharge a bit to recharge back. I think is normal

If you are on Catalina, it’s the battery health management causing it.

Thanks for the reply. I am just shocked at how come the MBP will drop its battery level when its connected to power all the time.
