42% ingame is actually 100%, if you set to 100% in game it's gonna supersample.

I think the performance difference is not huge. Even the DX12 did not give AMD much of an edge here. The delta will easily be eliminated with an overclocked GTX 1060, whereas the RX 480 is not very overclocking friendly.
