Anyone done a free n easy tour on Belgium only? Excluding flights, is six days enough to have a good exploration of Belgium?

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Could consider checking out Luxembourg if time permits. It is a separate country, but really small and just next to Belgium.

Day trip to Liege ?

Beside all the big city or town , any hidden treasure scenery of small town or city worth to drop by to explore ?

There's also a cafe there with pretty decent food. I enjoyed spending a day at the museum just chilling. Have fun!

I read on the TripAdvisor that it's a little difficult to get there. Did you buy the shuttle bus and entrance ticket package from the tourist office?

Do you think it's possible to visit the Herge museum and Bruges on the same day?

Bruges and the Herge musem are at different directions from Brussels. Probably 3 trains and 3 hours in each direction. I spent a night in Bruges.
The food is generally good in Belgium. Moules mariniere/Moules-frites (mussels with fries), kriek (fruit beer), chocolate...

I guess I will reach Brussels mid morning, coming from Cologne. Do you think I can put these museum visits on the same day after arrival?
- comic strip center and smurf shop
- Herge museum

Those food you've mentioned, are the portion more for 2 pax? I'm going solo, and would like to try them too, but worry I can't finish even a quarter/half portion.

I drove from holland so didn't have any problem. It's in the outskirts so looks a little difficult to reach via public transport. I did see buses stopping there with tourists though so might be the shuttle you're talking about?

Hello, why don't you make your assessment by checking travel durations between those places? A simple Google Map check will do.

Have already done the checks using Google Maps before posting my question. Just wanted to hear from travellers who have been there before.
