Philips got patented starfish base to better circulate air for evenly cooked foods

Mine is philips but an old model. Hard to clean. Got fed up of using it. Newer ones are probably much better.
I am using a Philips now. Previously also Philips.

Put a paper under your food. Much easier to clean.

Next one I will consider Mayer. I think more value for money.

When I place parched paper under the food, the underside does not receive much heat and not cooked well. Not using the paper, food gets cooked evenly

I am using a cheapo mayer less than $70 now. All analog. Much better than my 1st $200 plus Philips that spoilt after 2 years.

Mine is Philips but i am still figuring how it works. If I follow the recipe online, my food is either soggy or burnt! I am almost giving up on this.

Can experienced air fryer users share why my air fried food, fish nuggets, fries, etc. does not stay crispy after a short half hour.
