Best cable management PSUs?

Hello all.

I'm beginning to think my PSU is going to conk out quite soon, been having some problems with some cables providing enough power for appliances.

I'm also planning to buy a new case for my build.

So as such I was wondering what PSU would be the best in terms of modularity and ease of installation and cable management for my build.

I might want to individually sleeve my cables if it has to be done, though, so I might need some suggestions as to what to do with my PSU.

Thanks. ^_^

Seasonic X/P-series....

It still take some thinking and skills for good cable management. Modular cables can only help to eliminate unneeded ones from system interior, not much for cable management. :o

Thanks for the reply. I'm planning on making my rig as neat as possible so I'm probably going to have my OCD rule over everything that I do. So I'll try my best to get the cable management intact.

I'm now interested in the P-series, are individual cable sleeving services available here, and how much would they cost?

Cable management depends on user as well. given the best modular but the routing and cable management sucks also pointless.

U need few things to cable manage nicely.

Velcro, cable ties and cable sleeves.

Modular PSU is the way to go, both corsair and seasonic psu are good. But i find seasonic easier to sleeve but do note seasonic 24 pin cables are pain in e ass to sleeve due to one side is just 18 pins

There is a price guide in HWZ. Look at them to get an idea of the price range.

Seasonic P and G-series have flat ribbon cables except the MB and CPU power

Seasonic X-series same as above but must ensure that it is the latest 650W/750W/850W units, older gen have no flat ribbon cables. 560W version has normal sleeved cables

I thought the best cable management is from you, the user?

Or does this sound like another excuse to buy something?:)

Caught in the act. :)

Just need to buy a new PSU and get it sleeved, I'm pretty good with cable management so that isn't a problem.

Is there any point getting flat ribbon cables when I want to get them sleeved anyway?

If you're good with cable management and gonna sleeve it, then what's the point of asking for a PSU unit since I'm pretty sure you can handle any semi/fully modular PSU just fine...

Flat ribbon is easier to stuff behind the mobo tray. It is thinner as well so the case can accommodate extra "normal" cables in the same spot with ease without bulging out
