Any recommendation for telco/MVNO for use as primary mobile? Don't use more than 10GB local data monthly. Preferably with some free data roaming to Malaysia. I think the TPG $10 one seems to fit my usage, but I keep seeing comments on coverage issues even in SG.

Any other comparable plans with other telco/MVNO?

Anyone have Indonesia and Thailand roaming experience on TPG? My previous Malaysia and Indonesia roaming experience was horrible. Can see they have improved (Malaysia no longer using Yes but Celcom). Has they improved for Indonesia since then?
Not local SIM, but my primary Malaysian ones are Hotlink and DiGi, and I roam with them in Batam. Will very possibly use them for Bangkok as well. Worth a thought?

I'd just get a TPG SIM card and use them to best judge for self, since it's going to be a primary line. Use it in your primary phone and go to places, continue your routine and see if it works for you.

Primary teleco are always better in roaming as they have better tie ups with overseas teleco. TPG is quite young, and previously when they were on trial it was 90% impossible to get signal for their Malaysia and Indonesia roaming.

Tried their simba tpg super max but ended not fully working in JB msia and Orlando USA and only half the flights. So gave up.
Tested on S20 ultra, and had to manually pick the foreign Telco most of the time.

Tried redONE and it worked well for JB but no true global roaming bundles. But ported my main over cos stable in SG and JB.

Going to try giga soon but just saw news of their 22 April issues lol....

Used to be on postpaid starhub until they had buggy roaming and charged me unlimited roaming charges instead of the 100 cutoff.
