i m thinking of getting an endowment plan.. budget around 200 / month..

so far i find NTUC Vivosave is the best as it has an option for member to save their cashback to their guarenteed 3% saving account (they also have an option for investment account.. but i wanted something more secured)

any opinion on that?

Hi,

If you wish to, I could do a comparison for you across a few companies for you to determine which is more suited to your needs? Will just need you to provide me with a few details to generate the quotes out to do up the table.

You might want to state what do you plan to derive from the plan so that we can better let you know whether there are better ones or if vivosave matches what you require

Summary of vivosave: 10 or 15 yrs premium term
3% of sum assured paid out every year for 1st 10 yrs after end of premium term
6% of sum assured paid out yearly from 11th-20th year thereafter
8% of sum assured paid out yearly thereafter till age 85 where the plan will cease

Cashback deposited with the company earns a non-guaranteed interest rate of 3.5%

when you read the term and conditions. this plan is same as other company (eg. Greateastern Annue cash back), if you select not with draw the money, will get up to 3.5% growth ans this rate is not guaranteed.

anyway NTUC is good company as GE:s13:
do not misleading by some agent.

There are definitely plans that gives better yield than Revosave currently, that is if you are open to other companies' plans :)
