Best free DVD Burning Software?

Hi, may I know the general concensus on the best DVD burning program I can download for free? I use want to make copies of my DVD movies.

My criteria are: Fast, reliable, simple and easy to use.

Another question: What software can I use to burn DVD to harddisk? WMV or other recommended formats?

I am finding a DVD burning software which save logs of userID, fileNames, DateTime for audit purpose. Do u have any recommendation ?
