Best GPU for Plex?

As per title. Any recommendations for GPU since I have Plex pass which enables hardware transcoding.

Transcoding is cpu intensive task, not gpu. What type of device are you planning to host your media server at?

Nvidia limits their geforce cards in such a way that you will only get 2 transcodes out of it no matter how powerful the GPU.

You are just left with AMD or the integrated intel GPU.

I am running the trail version of unRAID. I am uncertain of buying the full version as its limited to 1GPU per virtual machine.Windows server seem to allow both plex, nas and my gaming pc all on the same OS.

it depend on sort of transcoding... sometimes GPU is more efficient in these sort of tasks.
