Need to get a replacement GPU cause my existing GTX560Ti is acting strangely with random system crash as soon as video playback starts, or random freezes for no reason. System won't even reset pressing the hard reset button. Need to hold down the power button until the PSU shuts down.

So which brand should I buy for stability and after sales support? What difference between getting 2GB and 4GB?

Thanks!

probably same as most of us GTX 560ti user, gpu uplorry, brands i have no idea as i probably will go for a cheap one, 2gb and 4gb have no performance gain, and u can search online there is one video on the difference on performance, 4gb since underperform from their benchmark on most games.

i can't really be sure but it's either the GPU or MB... with the GPU the biggest suspect... so will be buying a GTX960 to try first, if its the MB, then the rest of the rig will need to be refreshed :(

If not u can try uploading it crash dump to dump analysis to check what causes the blue screen or crash, else if u dun want u can go over to event viewer in control panel to see what is the error/fault.

I'd recommend Zotac 960 if 2gb vram is enough..

all the 4GB / 2GB of other brands are priced pretty :s22: .. i'd rather go for a palit/zotac 970 by topping abit ( 970 can get at $38x if you are patient with qoo10 vouchers and qpoints else it will be about $440-450 range)

Or if you find those brands not "Major" enough.. just the one with the distro nearest to you?

TBH even GTX 960 pricing seems bad now when GTX 950 can be bought for under $200 (after discount/promo code). Both R9-380/GTX 960 needs to go between $260-300 to make them competitive again....
