Hi, as the subject. any method is recommended? just use external hard drive? cloud?
There is no right and wrong answer here. Personally, I will recommend storing important data physically on a reliable drive, and at the same time, back them up on the cloud. I said reliable drive, because people like to buy cheap portable hard disks for backing up important information/ data. The risk of cheap drive is higher because low quality drives are used to keep portable hard disk prices low.Hi, as the subject. any method is recommended? just use external hard drive? cloud?
extl hdd> with encryption
I prefer thumb drive. Sandisk thumb drive have password protected software included.

i use google photos to store pics and videos.
Thumb drive does not suit you for such huge data storage. How about this > https://www.amazon.sg/Western-Digit...ssd+external+hard+drive&qid=1624490835&sr=8-5any recommended ext hdd? i have around 3tb photos, programmes, files, movie etc to store and hopefully can last long
is thumbdrive enough? looking for > 3tb storage
I think this "unlimited" Google Photo storage is no more. And I believe it applies to all Pixel phones, and not just to the latest models. Those uploaded prior to June will still remain. Anyway, you sure you have 100 TB of photos or 100 GB. 100 TB is crazy amount of pictures even if taken at the maximum resolution with a Google Pixel phone. You can buy a used pixel 1 to 5, or flash pixel experience firmware on a compatible phone like poco m3 ($160). downside is uploading is slow about 200GB/day. Upside is it is really unlimited and i have more than 100TB uploaded
only the original pixel 1 has unlimited original photo upload forever. pixel 2 lost that feature start of this year, pixel 3 will be next year, after which they will have unlimited compressed photo upload. pixel 3a and later have always been on unlimited compressed photo upload. and this only applies to photos, not to the whole google drive storage. ts has not just photos too.I think this "unlimited" Google Photo storage is no more.
