i think the one at tampines round market is pretty good. you should go and check it out this coming few weeks. the stall closes at around 2~3pm though...

during the cny period, there are always small stores set up around the perimeter of the market, and there is this one stall helmed by 2 sisters that sells particularly good pineapple tarts. delish lol.

melt-in-the-mouth with sweet pineapple paste. really awesome. and it's all handmade and fresh haha, because they don't stockpile their goodies and make them only a few days before selling them.

they also sell some other goodies too. can't really remember, but i think their pistachio tarts (a bit orange-ish in colour) and almond tarts are good too.

the pineapple tart steals the limelight for me though hehe.

It's part of a whole series of small stalls set up around the perimeter of the market haha. just popped by today, and their store is 18b (can see from the numbers painted on the wall). if you want to go, really must go there early cos when i was finishing my lunch, they were clearing up lol. it was around 1.50pm then?

Is it good?

Hmmm.. It was some years ago since I last ate their tarts.

Personally i thought it was quite good.. the tart base is not too dry and the jam not overly sweet.

My mum has been ordering from this stall at sims avenue hawker centre. The name is called' jia' confectionery. They sell those trad type and has a buttery taste. When you order, they actually make fresh for u to collect i na couple of days. The price is reasonable about $14 for the usual small bottle and a lot of variety of other snacks.
