See below link got lots of information:

Which bank offer the best value for money PRIORITY BANKING SERVICE?

It depends what you are looking for and there is no "best priority banking" IMHO.

I tried all below before, end of the day is they want to to make lots of money from us, if you are rich and able to spend/invest, they will treat you like a king, if not they will not even call you!

SCB Priority Banking (Still active) - Free VI, free PP, free ATM card can withdraw cash overseas with no service charge (but exchange rate sucks), spouse and children can get free VI and PP, free water/coffee/tea/Internet/printer/newspapers at their Priority centres, no need to queue at their branches, RM will sms/call you for investments/seminars/product launch etc.., can open new FD with existing funds and without going to the branch

Maybank Affluent Banking (Still active but I have no funds inside) - Free VI, free PP, free 2 ways airport limo transfer, can open new FD with existing funds, free use of Affluent Banking centres, got free newspapers/drinks/Internet/printer, RM never called

AMZ Signature Banking (Still active but I have no funds inside) - Free VI, free airport lounge access, free water/coffee/tea/Internet/printer/newspapers at their Priority centre, no need to queue at their branches, RM never called me

UOB Privilege Banking (Inactive) - Free use of Privilege Banking centres, got free water/coffee/tea/Internet/printer/newspapers, RM seldom call

Just curious, how come no fund inside still can be active? I was HSBC Priority Banking customer before but as soon as I withdrawn the qualifying fix deposit, the status changed.

I fully agreed with this statement "end of the day is they want to to make lots of money from us, if you are rich and able to spend/invest, they will treat you like a king, if not they will not even call you!"

My RM has never called me before!

Maybe it was their internal audit issue or they are waiting one day you will put $$ inside? E.g for UOB one I transferred all my funds long long time ago but my "UOB Signature" card still has "PRIVILEGE BANKING" printed on it.

I used Maybank VI free 2-way airport transfer (6 times a year one way) few times and the service was good, I have 5 people and can't fit into an E220 so they used a mini-bus instead.

I've been SCB PB since 2008 but the RM has only called me once! And still need to queue even if you go to the branches with PB counters, just a different queue number. The one at NEX especially!

Citi private banking is better. The RM always calls but I hardly use any of their services..

This is because it is so easy to become PB, last time I went to Orchard SCB branch no queue for PB at all, and now I go there and Raffles branches the queue for PB is long!

Even at DBS branches Raffles I queued at normal queue many time I was faster than the DBS Treasures queue!

RM did not call you because your profile is like me not a big invester or a big spender!

LOL, it is easy for HSBC and SCB. All you need is $200,000. But I thought DBS Treasures need $1.5M? How can that be too easy?

Hmm..follow-up question.

For which of the priority-banking services can you qualify by having a certain annual income?

Since I invest via specialized broking-services and not the Singapore full-service-banks, I cant really bring myself to park so much money with the banks...

I don't think you can get PB relationship with any banks here using your income alone, you need to have deposit, investment or loan to qualify.

This is not true. You just need to meet their minimum requirement. Whether you finally decided to buy any product with them is up to you (as money is yours and you have a right to decide!).

They may not call you after a few rounds of not "buying". But I think this is good.

Worse case I experienced is one UOB RM called asking me why I kept money and not want to invest. I complaint to the bank about his attitude and the way he spoke to me. After that I never see his name in PB.

Is it true spouse and children can get PP? Because online says only the principal PB holder. Or is it a request made through RM?

Yes, it is under the "Household Recognition" programme and my wife got her VI & PP under her own name.

Lol. I told the RM not to call me or even send me anything. Told them I know what I'm doing & can manage on my own. A useful advantage is the slightly lower brokerage fees.
