Hi all,

any bros have any recommendation for a laptop with SSD within the budget of $1200?

No other requirements. Hybrid drives will do too. Mainly use for school work and tasks such as excel and net surfing. Thanks in advance! :)

Since you're looking for best value, can consider getting a laptop without ssd (i3/4gb ram will do for your usage) at around $500 and replace the hard disk/optical drive with a 480/512gb ssd which should cost under $300. Just make sure the laptop has easy to access disk storage slots for easy replacement or one with optical drive. Of course you still need to setup the ssd afterwards but there are tutorials for that.

Or you can also consider looking at Lazada for laptops with sshd for around the same price with better specs (like graphics, i5 etc). Do note that sshd's performance isn't as good as ssd's. I think laptops with ssds usually have smaller storage at that price although they have better hardware, which is not necessary for usage.

Thanks bro for your advice. Found some good choices in lazada :s12: :)
