going to hit my my monthly data quota, and looking for alternative..

currently on stinktel and disgusted to know that I can't turn on datax2 (or x3) now...and that I can only suck thumb and exceed the usage to be charged $10.70 per gb..

is there any other data plan that I can subscribe for $10 or less per month?

What I have:
1) Stinktel postpaid
2) M1 free 1GB that comes with the Fibre Broadband
3) Starfug happy roam prepaid (have a 7days 1gb plan for $7)

any advise?

M1 M Card - 300MB 30 days + 1GB 3 days = 1.3GB 33 days for $10.

If you've a lot unused data just get the 300MB 30 days package only, it'll cost you $5 instead for the month.

what is the startup cost for the M1 M Card? is it really $5 as shown in https://www.m1.com.sg/mcard ?
$5 free 500mb for a start, and can use overseas also ?

Yes, but the $5 M Card can only be bought at M1 Shops I think. Much harder to find, most sell the $15 M Card instead.

Yes, it includes the free M Card Data Roaming to 5 countries, upon data roaming activation.

- First, mySIM is the SIM-only for M1. SingTel is SIM-Only, same name as StarHub.

- Second, the TS don't seem to be able to change his plan at all since it's on contract. You're selling switching to Sim only when he can't do so?

$5 1gb for 3 days, and $1 for 10mb for 7 days..

so total is 1.01gb for 10days..at total of $6...

So the number of days validity and data cap are cumulative? I always thought it was programed such that the last bought plan is the only active plan and it will override the earlier plans even if they haven't expired or are not used up.

ie when you buy data plans A + B + C, number of days valid = A + B + C and total data = A + B + C?

For singtel it used to be cumulative. But they changed the validity to overwrite. The total data is still cumulative though.

can only comment for Starhub happy roam...but it's funny, cos my 10mb is cannot be utilised.

eg;
1gb expired 10days later
10mb expired 3 days later

but only the 1gb counter is counting down..

The so called "cannot utilised" 10MB that -- will expired 3 days later -- is FREE data, yes?

In case you're NOT aware -- pertaining to any FREE data received on Starhub prepaid -- see photo below:

no...I bought 2 add on..

1) 10mb for 7days = $1
2) 1gb for 3 days = $5

total I should get 1.001gb for 10days..but end up..the 10mb expire earlier and can never be utilised.

Maybe it's the order that I activate the plan...dunno which one I should activate first.

This so called Free 1GB data work this way.

This is you paid 1GB for x days.
When your paid data is depleted it then use the Free 1GB.
This is so that you do not worry that you have used up the paid 1GB and the start using the main wallet balance.

Even if the Free 1GB is use first, it do not make any differences.
That is if you look at the other point of view.
