Beverage cafes are littered at every corners of Seoul. Koreans are often seen with a cuppa in hand on the go, either tea or coffee.I like particularly, the variety at green tea café/museum called O’Sulloc http://www.osulloc.com/main.jsp

How about in Tokyo Japan?

Hardly any successful finds online on green tea/coffee joints in Tokyo. Only those on matcha desserts, parfaits, traditional tea tasting & etc.Oh and I only know they have nana green tea café, haha.

Know any tokyo cafes that serve nice cold/hot beverages like Starbucks?

Always enjoy a cuppa Starbucks green tea latte~.

Starbucks is probably the most boring coffee you can find in Japan... the Japanese have been big into coffee far longer than the Koreans...

Start with this 120 years of coffee in Japan
A 120 Years Of Mornings: The History Of Coffee In Japan

Then say bye bye to Starbucks with the top 25 cafes in Tokyo
Tokyo

And for the poseurs, our ladyironchef (cheapskate who demands free food) has 15 other cafes to recommend
Tokyo’s Top 15 Cafes to Visit | ladyironchef: Food & Travel

And then if you are the brave type, there is a world beyond just merely coffee

Japan has lots of cafes!

When I stayed in Asagaya(Tokyo) , there were many shops selling coffee in the nearby shopping streets.

You need to learn to Google better. There's the usual Tully's, Doutor and Starbucks. There are also plenty of cafes where you can have proper coffee, not that sugar laden crap.

japan is now experiencing a boom in convenience store coffee which is not only cheap at 100yen but also of great quality. i understand that 7-11 is said to be serving the best coffee among the conveniences store chain.

Slightly off topic, but u can buy off Starbuck's cups and tumblers (or even their starbucks card) at different prefecture and collect them.

The designs of the cards/cups/tumblers are superb and it's definitely way better than the boring Singapore designs.

I usually hunt for coffee joints to enjoy and relax only when I am in Taipei. Japan, always too busy to shop, no time to sit and chill! ha
