Ah... I was lucky enough to be staying in New Otani Tokyo then to buy it. No wonder this kind Japanese uncle who offered to help me to figure out a route to Shibuya had to spend some time to recognise what train lines the card was valid for.

There's no need to purchase Tokyo Metro Pass open tickets to be eligible for the 13% rebate offer campaign that BicCamera are offering right now. I recently shared a tip with some fellow bros in another thread that as long as you print out the following page and cut out the coupon, present it to payment counter before doing payment together with yr passport, you will still be eligible for the 5% tax rabate + 8% sales rebate.

But this coupon campaign does have some terms and conditions and will not apply to every electronic items that is been sold by BicCamera. Apple products does not apply, so are certain electronics such as video game console systems. Best to check personally with the sales rep serving you on the spot, according to my prev travel experiences BicCamera do have english-speaking salesmen so I don't think it will be a huge issue for anyone in terms of communication.

This BicCamera promotion campaign will end on March 31st 2014, same as the Omotenashi Spring campaign deadline period as shown on Tokyo Metro website.
