Bicycle insurance

I came across this on Reddit. Does it apply here?

Any cyclist who owns a house is covered by homeowner's insurance, IIRC. Auto insurance can also cover you depending on the insurer. There's also bicycle insurance you can purchase, but it tends to only cover bicycles that are $1,500 or higher in price.

Does home insurance cover bicycle insurance? I only got the Etiqa PMD/Bicycle insurance.

Thanks. Not bad. 1k for a bicycle granted that they depreciate so fast.
