You should consider take Business Analysis and then Big Data.

The following are courses in Singapore supported by 70% CITREP II Funding:

1. Business Analytics

2. Big Data

It is advisable to take this route as Business Analytics will provide you a foundation for the Big Data curriculum.

Take note that this school does not have Big Data courses as often as Business Analytics, so I would also suggest taking the Business Analytics course closer to the date of the Big Data course.

Let me know if you need someone at the company to talk to you about this courses. (PM me)

I believe with most cases, a dip will allow you to perform the tasks involved in that industry. And anything higher would entail you manage the people and also oversee the process.

But for me, in hospitality, for highly qualified individuals, they still start at the bottom of the rack before going up the ladder. And they still pay peanuts.

Yes they're definitely 2 different things. I'd suggest to go with stats, math to know on different models to work on or build e.g. regression as well as real-cases to study on.

Understand that NUS now has an analytics course, might be parked under School of Computing?
