Going there soon and will be staying at Bintan Resort.

Where's the nearest supermarket or market that I can get groceries?

Is Grabtaxi/Uber available there?

Any recommendation and rate on car rental, self-drive is ok?

Any places to recommended to visit?

Inside the Bintan Resorts, there are shops which sell most things albeit at tourist prices. The "real" supermarkets are in the other half of Bintan outside the Bintan resorts compounds. Head for Tanjong Pinang.

There's a new Children's Library, located in a coastal village just along Trikora Beach Road. Friendly environment there and there's a homestay for volunteers or tourists who wish to experience first-hand village setting and spend time with village kids in their programmes. I can share more if you're interested.

How's the sea to Bintan in November and December? Is it very rough? What's the best time of the day to go to avoid the rough seas?

You may try staying at The Canopi! FUNNNN! All the activities are within the resort. Massage & shops are all inside. Can’t wait to return!

My friend went Club Med Bintan last December, it was raining and due to the rough sea, they couldn't do sea sports at all.
