It will work. You just need an adapter for the plug.

Yes i know , the drive already come with an adapter , i just not sure will it work on our power voltage use here , can i use the original ac adapter come with the Drive or do i need to buy an adapter from local store , thank for your reply .

adiBOY is most likely saying that the WD adaptor is multi-voltage, and I think so too as this item has worldwide warranty, hence very likely that they provide hardware that can be used around the world.

Oh yeah, don't worry about the voltage. It will work. It has a rated voltage of 110-240v which is compatible with SG voltage. You can use the AC Adapter that comes with it and then buy the US to SG's pin adapter will do.

nobody can pat his chest and guarantee brand A or brand B won't have DOA. buy with confidence! perhaps choose the brand that has better after sales support

4TB WD and Seagate 2.5" portable HDD already selling at $189 on Qoo10, add in $10 cart coupon is like $179. Personally don't find it worth to buy from Amazon at $161 (assuming no shipping fee) given the risk of DOA.

If you are lucky, they will refund you the full amount without you returning the DOA set.

Got people like you no wonder amazon not willing to ship alot of stuffs already :s8:

I wish I were that lucky. So far I don't need to bother them for refunds or RMA :)

If you search all over the net, you can see a lot of cases and doesn't only applies to SG.
