Black screen ( no signal)while gaming

Hi, need to check with all you experts here.
Yesterday i was playing games and suddenly there was a black screen with no signal shown on my monitor. The PC was still running with fans suddenly going at full speed.
Anyone knows what is the cause of this, and any fixes?

Monitor, gpu port or cable spoiled. For me was the gpu port dead. test on others if possible

after restart then it is okay already. Just that during games it will suddenly show black screen and no signal on monitor. Once restart then it is okay.

Likely your GPU dying. Try use onboard GPU or swap to spare dedicated GPU. Monitor your GPU temp see if overheating during gaming.

The black screen of death is an issue that ppl believed to be caused by certain window update. Your graphic card or psu is fine. The cause of this is just unknown. There has been several post about this on Nvidia driver forum.

I myself encountered this black screen of death last time. Change gpu or motherboard also no use.

symptom: u play game or even surf net halfway suddenly your monitor just turn black like no signal from the graphic card. then you cannot do anything but just to restart your pc. it can occurred at random.

this BSOD issue also affect AMD user btw which is why I mentioned it was believed to be caused by certain window updates

It is a new gpu leh, just build my pc

Mobo:asrock b250m pro
Processor: i7-7700
Ram:corsair lpx 8*2 gb
Ssd:samsung 850evp 250gb
Hdd:toshiba 1gb
Psu:seasonic m12ii 620w
Gpu: palit gtx 1060 6gb
Pcie wifi card tp1300 archer

Gpu temp 55degrees when it happened leh, using gpu z to monitor

all parts new?
then check for loose pcie power cables, inspect cables near connector to see if anything abnormal
turn on debug mode using nvidia ctrl panel

1) took out my gpu and put in again, didnt work
2)uninstall and reinstalled driver, problem also reoccured

3)tried removing side panel and blew a fan at it,also didnt work
It occurs when i play games, but strangely, the error does not arise when i do benchmarking using unigine heaven ,valley and superposition. Not sure what is causing the error....

just send it for rma den, let the distro do the testing, if their side is fine, that means could be either power or mobo issues.

yes, so long u still have the receipt can already.

From my experience with Sapphire RMA, got receipt can liao.

But SG RMA stingy. If you bring graphics card only, they'll only pass you the graphic card from new box but keep the box and contents (maybe to resell the RMA card if its not complete failure)
