hi, i started having this problem yesterday.............AFTER i used Defraggler (i've used it for years previously)

these black squares and rectangles will appear on webpages with lots of photos and graphics like news webpages..........especially if i scroll up or down fast.........

these black ''things'' DON'T appear on Gmail, Hotmail, online surveys or other ''serious'' webpages............also i've no problems watching online movies........

these black ''things'' appear only when i'm online............the screen is fine when i'm offline.........

i read somewhere these black ''things'' are like Pop-Ups or something ??!!

## is there anyway to resolve this issue ?

Which site you got these black "things"?

Better if you can list down all parts of your rig here too.

Have you try Clear browsing data - clearing you Chrome browser cache, cookies & history.

Turn off hardware acceleration for the browser. If the problem stops, then it's graphic cards / browser issues. I have similar issues on Firefox whereby random encounter with webgl or flash content will cause Nvidia driver kernel crashes.

many thanks

but how to do that ah ?:o

also, will affect my bookmarks or not ?:o

Clear browsing data will not affect bookmarks, passwords & other settings.

As i had mentioned it will clear only the browser cache, cookies & history.

For Chrome go to Setting -> History -> select Clear browsing data

For IE go to Tools -> Delete browsing history..

Clear browsing data is to open a new tab to delete all history record on websites at this point.

Hence any tabs which are open will not be touched or deleted.

As for "AFTER i used Defraggler" which software did you use for this.
If it is not Windows default but others then there is possibility some files may be purged or corrupted while processing.

It could cause some settings or drivers to be outdated or whatever.

DeFraggler is from the same guys that came up with CCleaner........been using it for years with no issues...........

i also tried Firefox and no problems there so only with Chrome............i suspect it could be Ad-Blocker that block those pop-ups that might be causing the black squares.......
