Blank screen after Window Logo loading

So recently I have been playing Ni no Kuni 2 (Think about 40 hours in, not in 1 go of course) So it was Monday night while I was playing then suddenly, my screen glitched (orange lines with green)

Naturally, I press hard reset on my desktop and it reset with the quite normal startup (window has not shut properly and such). So I just select window start normally. It started okay but after the window logo, it just went blank (nothing on the screen) for about 15mins. Did another hard reset this time.

This time round, I let the window repair do all the work. But alas started okay but after the window logo, it just went blank again (nothing on the screen) for about 15mins.

So I goggle around for a bit, it might be a graphic card driver issue. So I uninstall the driver (in safe mode) and used the window default driver. It ran perfectly, Windows loaded and such, until I installed the latest GPU Driver (Adrenalin-18.3.4)

So would it be a driver issue or is my graphic card really dead?(which I find it strange as I am still using that GPU with my screen plugged in to run the desktop, just with a default driver Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600). The fan and power (Green Light) on the GPU seems to be running fine.

My current CPU setup is a Gigabyte GA H87-D34 Asus R7 370 Intel Core i5 4570 Seasonic M12II 650 2 x Cosair 8gb Ram

This setup had been with me about 3 years.

Ah...I am still connecting and using my screen via the dvi port via the R7370 so that means I am using my R7370 right? I deleted my R7370 driver using the GPU-something.

So now am currently using my Intel driver.

That's why I find it strange as well. Am able to connect via my graphic card using Intel driver.

Try installing any of the amd drivers. The latest amd driver if black screen also use older amd drivers. If you are using the intel drivers for your amd card you might not even be using the gpu at all as the gpu needs to use the amd driver in order to run properly in games at good fps.

Try play some games or run some benchmarks and test your gpu see if you are able to get good frame rate with that intel driver. If the frame rate is bad chances are you are not actually using your gpu. You are just using your gpu without the drivers.

Will try to install some older driver tonight. There's the auto window driver installation that will happen. Should I disable that and get an even older driver installation going?

I don't think I am running the GPU at all as I am having some Radeon error. Just that the PC is able to work via the GPU even though there is no driver for that GPU installed.

Okay so I used DDU to remove your radeon driver. Den reinstall that time the driver that works. The windows hardware installation will only used the latest stable driver. (Even if your mobo website has the latest version)

Uninstall the driver via DDU. Installed a driver for my GPU using a driver from 2015. Installed and reset. Upon windows logo ended, screen immediately glitch, 1st my screen got into sleep mode then turn on with blue and white lines. So turned my computer on and off.

After the windows message, I start window normally, after window logo ended, another immediate glitch. This time is just a solid navy blue screen.

So I guess the GPU is really dead?

don't install driver from that many years back ... use something about 3-6 months ago

Just installed a recent one 17.7xx version. Just blank screen after restarting. No glitch, no nothing.

you using which windows version ? this one very important , you go amd driver forum they want all system spec with which windows version you using.

the screen with lines i think you take a screenshot to better understand
