How to block shopee.sg from chrome? It's very aggressive as when I visit some websites it'll appear again and again. I tried blocking all cookies, block pop ups under settings but it still appears.

Does it appear as a pop up as in a separate window or as an advertisement within the website?
If it's within the website it's very common.

do you mean chrome on android?

FYI, chrome on mobile devices, do not support extension, so can't install ad-blocking extension

recommend to use firefox. can install extension even on mobile devices. e.g. i use ublock origin

no more ads generally after that

I'm with a certain website and shoppee.sg just simply takes over the website I was in. It's very very aggressive as when I key in my website again, it again and again takes over the website I was in. I cleared all time cookies, block 3rd party cookies, delete browsing history but it still it takes over the website.

Interesting, have not heard of this issue before. So you can be on any website while using Google Chrome on your mobile phone, and suddenly it just redirects you to shopee.sg?

Sounds like malware, but usually it redirects you to some other funny website, unless that website is not the official Shopee website.

Maybe check all the apps in your phone and see if there are any weird third party apps or some apps that you might have installed unknowingly.

One way is to use Private Window of the web browser.
