Does anyone notice that the screen on the S6 changes into a bluish green tint when view at different angles other than directly facing it?
Like when I tilt the phone slightly and my viewing angle is about 45 degrees to the phone, the blue tint becomes very prominent at the edges
Or did I just get one with a defective screen.....

No I don't have the pink hue issue but with the bluish tint all over except when I look at the phone at 90 degrees and 2 dead pixels, I am heading down now to the Samsung service center at marina square to get a replacement

Good luck. Let us know how it goes! Samsung refused to replace mine with the pink tint issue.

Well the guy said that they will replace the screen for me due to the dead pixel.
Apparently, I was told that the bluish and pink tint is NORMAL, according to their HQ directives.
Should have just bought the z3 instead since I was recontracting from my trusty Nokia 920

Sad that the S6 is plagued with screen tint issues. Was planning to get it come may when I can recontract as my S4 has given way.

Not too sure now.

Well, guess it's a blessing in disguise you got the dead pixel then. Let us know how the new unit is.

Ok typing on my changed screen now and I can got some pros and cons
I no longer have dead pixels as of now, but the bluish and pink tint still exist so ditto
The bezel of the screen was glued incorrectly too as I can see that the front camera is out of alignment and the right edge of the s6 has visible gap compared to the left side which was glued shut
Since they close at 8 and I need to rush off for appointment I didnt ask for a redo

Hmm, do you get the pink/blue tint when face on as well? Do they really check to see the dead pixels? Haha.

Well the screen is pretty weird now in that it is like a rainbow screen. As I tilt the phone vertically from top to bottom, I see streaks of blue and red tint running across the screen.
They dont check for dead pixels but it was pretty obvious for the initial screen as there were 2 dead pixels around the center when I switched to a whitish background

I have no idea why every damn website out there is annoucing that s6 has the best screen ever. Spec wise yes but reality wise my 920 is better. Bloody rainbow screen

It is very difficult to see the rainbow tints at their shops because of their bright lighting. But you can use the spotlights to check for scratches and dead pixels before you accept the phone.

I gave the m1 charbo hell for changing 2 sets coz both initial sets had scratches right out of the box

Yup the rainbow screen is basically the pink/green gradient running down the screen. It's v obvious on a white background and under dim lighting. I agree under their service centre lighting you can't see anything.

I don't understand too. Either Samsung triple check for this b4 sending reviewers, or reviewers are too busy testing videos and games to notice the issue...

Have been using my edge since 9th April and I can say it's the best smartphone I have used. It's gorgeous, smooth and slick. It's a envy of others and always turns heads when I am out and about.

Not sure why so many people complain but I find the screen is perfect, nicely saturated and sharp. I didn't notice any tinting at all. Of course when I compare next to lcd screen, it's not as white but if I don't compare, it's perfectly fine.

Not sure why people must have perfectly white screens for what. Not as though you do serious photoshopping on the phone. And I am not sure who on earth look at their phone at 45 or 90 degrees angle???

Just enjoy the slick phone. You have more serious things to worry about In life.

Some of us have worse pink tint than others. Consider yourself lucky. I have a note 4, which is fine. I don't even have to put it next to my note 4 to notice the pink tint.

The only way I can not notice it is to become color blind. I'll see if God can answer my prayer at church tomorrow. ;)
