Look through PCT pricelist...

My current rig you can see on the right side of post ->
Still using 1360 x 768 resolution display though Haha on Fredde Workstation.
Will be using existing speaker, keyboard and mouse too.

Mainly to play Witcher 3 on high to ultra with full processing all on. And maybe GTA... Other new games...

Cant seem to find Broadwell CPU as it is the latest cpu release now.

Haswell i7 4790K
Which MSI Mobo model to choose? -> Any of it support ddr4 ram?
PowerColor R9 290 4GB VRAM TD $399
Seasonic G Series 750w Modular? or use back current 620w PSU?

Or is it wise just changing to

Haswell i7 4790K plus MSI Mobo
PowerColor R9 290 4GB VRAM TD

While the rest use existing case and components.

Hmn :s12:

Ultra settings on hd ready res isn't that taxing. Probably get some rams and r9 280x should do.

Right now only x99 requires ddr4. You might want to wait for skylake later.

x99 is i7 5+++ cpu right?

280 support my current mobo?

GPU is your least concern on supporting issues unless your mobo is ITX form factor :s13: As long as it is a PCI-E slot can plug in one.

Yes X99 is 5820K/5930K/5960X and a list of Xeon processors. Aka LGA2011-3 socket.

For gaming I can't see any real benefit to go DDR4. Expensive as fug.
