On who's authority do you think we have to decide if you are able to attend field camp?

Unless you are visually impaired, your commanders wouldn't know you have limited ability with your thumb right? You may want to consider informing your commanders in case anything happen to you.

I cut my thumb with a swiss army knife the day before I went for a long week of outfield back when I was in command school. Still can attend field camp, dig shell scrape. Just that I was given more time to dig.
