Hi guys! Asking for a friend. Does anyone know what BMT standard batch in tekong is like? Is it a straight no no to command school? Would it be possible to go to units sucj as guards after POP? Thanks guys!

SCS is still possible.

At most maybe the coy best and 1 platoon best will go scs

Standard batch at most is SCS.

For Guards, is provided your friend is going in there after SCS and will need to undergo GCC. Meaning that chances of going to Guards as a Specialist is the only possible route. But going into Guards as men will not be possible as they are recruited via mono-intake.

There have been postings to Guards after BMT.

Same goes for Infantry and Armour, and they have their respective mono-intakes as well.
