Agree not bad. I will apply for this card. Seems to be a good card to charge for hospitals. If kena, hospital bill will be easily $1000 and up... (not many cards offer rebate for this category)...

Family card originally had 5% rebate on hospital bill right? What did they replace then? They replace hospital bill with hospital bill? And also add online spend (good stuff)

Just a quick check...

1) bill payment for the 0.35% bonus, I just need to pay $30. Not 30.01, right?

2) even though e-axs payment no longer earn card spend bonus, will we still get the 0.1% spending rebate? This is like free money for my monthly credit card bill payments.

Thanks.

Bro Trazora, I opened the Maybank acct yesterday. As qualified card spent is only on their visa.
And now that BOC does not qualify e-axs, what is my next option to pay my almost $500 sp bill if I dont wish to make the trip down to SP office? Which other banks still qualify e-axs(masterpass)?

Agree. Call in again this morning. Sigh... another disappointment. Can't even understand the meaning of continuous failed login. zzzzz...

My concern is Im afraid someone might tap onto my acc. (if thats possible) and then transfer out/use them without notifying).... which Im not sure if it could happen. Which I why I call in to ask my account status.

IN any case, anyone have encountered this frequently?

My first time encountering, and I have not failed logging in consecutively at all.

So far, has ANYONE successfully logged into their mobile phone app?

CIMB CC also give rebates (10%) for clinic and hospital bills. But it has to be $30 * 8 transaction AND $500 (minimum spending).

All the while, it has been giving 5% rebates on hospital bills.

The hospital portion is tricky, as not all hospitals are included (not sure about now). It doesn't work for KTPH when I tried it in Jul. From the cc thread, it seems to work for the private hospitals. So now, I just use CIMB master and ask counter to charge 2-3 times. XD

Didnt know about this. Thanks. I find the CIMB one hard to qualify. Hospital is usually 1 big bill... shy to ask cashier to swipe 8 times of $30. Dont understand why have this kind of condition.

Hi Guys,

Just want to share my experience.

Just gotten my Family card and called them to find out about my billing cycle. Apparently there is a new billing cycle from 4th - 3rd of the following month.

Even though I put on my credit card application form my request to make the billing cycle to be 23rd of the month, but I guess the person processing my application knew that I want to apply for the boc smartsaver account as well.

Indeed the new billing cycle of 4th of the month is as close as it gets to the calendar month hence blessing in disguise perhaps. So who those applying or going to apply for the card, hope this helps.

Opened smartsaver account yesterday as well. Let the show begins starting Dec16...Thanks to all broz and sis that help supply information and tips. Let's continue to help each other whenever wherever. :)
