Do you all get the "Please close the web browser and login again" issue when trying to log into BOC website? I didn't log out properly the last time maybe, so now they see me as logged in?

Also, BOC CC is not linked to the Smart Saver account?

It happens. Close browser, open again and clear cache.

Must go to bank branch to link credit card before it appears on ibanking

No one replied to my question after days... Anyway, I received a notice from IRAS that the giro plan linked to BOC is underway and BOC also texted me saying the GIRO has been set up. So, anyone else got their income tax giroing linked to BOC?

Hey guys,

For those who use BOC to pay their income tax (monthly), need to pay additional 2% to activate the service?

Why u think there may be 2%? my income tax linked to smartsaver via giro for 12 month installment, no fee.

Sorry, you mean on top of my income tax, I still gotta pay an additional 2% to BOC if I giro my tax on the 12months interest free plan?

No no no...

The 2% is processing fee only if you are using the BOC Tax Payment Program. This is actually a loan drawing from your unsecured credit line. BOC will loan you your tax amount for you to pay IRAS, and you will pay back BOC monthly.

If you are using the IRAS GIRO payment that links to your bank savings account, there is no additional charges. This is where IRAS deduct a preset amount from your designated bank account via GIRO monthly.

Slight correction. Under the tax payment programme, you will get an advance from your boc cc into a bank account you nominated. You are still required to pay iras yourself.

Does anyone know when the interest is usually credited into the account? I fulfilled the criteria for May (credit card spend etc) but I only got the 0.4% on the base.
