Gosh, how did I missed this one?!!
Seems like I can qualify for all 3 and achieve 2.75% + base.

With BOC, I could only get 1.95% + base
Saveup might not be better than boc even if the interest is higher.. if the bulk of your spending is on dining, boc is still a better choice in terms of total rebates including cc rebates..

uh..ok..was reading the saveup webpage..the income tax payment part is just an additional reward. i guess not many go after this reward :)

I'll be opening an acct on Tuesday. Will do salary crediting, $500 card spend and giro $300. Seems straight forward like BOC used to be(until dec 1st).

true this

i am very impressed with boc card qualification for 7% dining. im getting easily 50$ a month rebates based on this.

really can be any eatery and they DO NOT ROUND DOWN any one cent of their rebates.

they just aggregate and giv u the full sum, not so sneaky lke ANZ where they do round down for every single transaction.

Does spending use atm card count towards total spending? I'm not referring to debit master. Just retail spend using atm.

True, true.

On hindsight I should close my SC B$.
That one I could only qualify for 2.03 + base.
With SC, we could only use the B$ card am I right?
That card doesn't give any perks or rebates ya?

I see, in that case I will just keep this card for dinning and grocery. Will probably call them tmr to confirm if e-axs(SP bills $300+) will count towards card spend, otherwise quite hard to meet as I don't dine out alot. But groceries about $300+ mthly.

The MayBank one, I hope would be able to do Town council recurring credit card payment, that $270+ would help greatly. Should be good to keep both. For salary, HR is friendly so no issues.:)

Thanks for pointing that out.

I'm awaiting to read shiny's book and then transfer the 100k into their trading acct and close B$. Until I finish the book, I'll leave the funds there a little longer since I got their $188 already. Don't feel good abt closing it so soon after receiving the welcome gift. :D

No need to call BOC. Not possible to use BOC family card for e-AXS.

just note that eateries within hotels are usually not counted. e.g. Froth Cafe in Ascott Hotel.

I wonder whether Imperial Treasure in Crowne Plaza Changi will get you the rebate, since Imperial Treasure should have the MCC code under Dining
