Is it even possible to pay other banks cc bill using debit card on BOC IB? Or are you just debiting directly from your SmartSaver acc?

Debiting directly from your SmartSaver acc was never considered as card spending from my understanding.

did anyone close their smartsaver account?

i am trying to close mine and was wondering if they will charge to issue a CO to pay me the balance?

no charges for CO in your own name. i take out a CO every year to contribute to my SRS account.

i will close in early Jan. leave 1.5k, fast out remainder, take cash, walk over & deposit in bank next door

thanks for sic, heading to boc now to close the account then...didn't realise all the bonus interest already in before the 10th :(

I assume the account was opened more than 6 months, if not there will be early closure fees.

totally slipped my mind...closed liao...they never mentioned any fees but the total amount they gave me, i also not sure if accurate or not? :s13:
