Old tnc not listed anymore right?

So if invest this mth, very grey....check with RM better
old t&cs announcement is still around : https://www.sc.com/sg/important-information/bonussaver-revision/
scroll down & look for "Revision of Bonus$aver Account effective 1 June 2025".
Let's not blame RM. After my share purchases is completed this month, I intend to document it & contact RM to forward to the product team to confirm my eligibility for 2026 BI(Invest) payments.

If invest early this month. Manage to settle within this month and also sell within this month, perhaps unaffected.

What if buy and settle this month, but hold a month or two and sell in Feb mar 2026. Considered under old or new haha.

Anyway mine has 4 more cycles to go and I somewhat unmotivated to refresh under old tnc. Will just let the remaining cycle to run out and see by then whether want to commit and hold 30k or switch the entire 100k out.

My BI last payment in jan. Ready to buy equities this month but really not sure I will get the BI after Jan if i were to do so..
What I'm thinking is.. I'll buy some equities this month. Then month end I'll transfer some to park at GXS for their Jan promo. Keep only a little here for Jan. Then end Jan see if my Invest BI turns into 1/6. If it does then transfer back my funds after my 1 month with GXS ends. Timing seems just right.

Ya I wonder how they actually track, coz not so straight forward one. Like if you got existing UT 30K and bought another same UT 30K to fulfill BI requirements. But after 1 month sell 30k (arguably it’s the old 30k). How they track? Got several other scenarios, so… hmmmm.

Latest tnc never say cannot sell UT and buy back the same UT right?

So i think can sell existing UT and then buy back within the same mth?

Not sure what's so grey, you buy this month, you are under existing T&C, next month you will get 1/6 bonus interest for THIS month.
If all TNC of this month stays , then your interest rate should stay according to existing TNC till May. But we all know this cannot be the case for the interest rate quantum . It is wishful thinking to slice and dice TNC without proper confirmation.
Hence it is grey - and i dont believe answer unlikely to come out fast

But the revised invest interest rate is still 2.5%! Other users have already confirmed that they received 12 months of bonus interest after it was reduced to 6 months at the beginning of this year.

U can don't call but they'll take their time to call you. If u call. Their cs will hurry the fraud team to call you. So at the end of the day you need to wait for fraud team to call you to get it unlock. My acc unlock already. My fam didn't answer the call so now still lock. No hurry. Leave it.

GXS promo got to go GXS thread.

Why it is considered grey?

History might not repeat. The previous change only involved a shortened BI entitlement, so looks ok for the bank to allow the period to continue.

But this coming change is a major change in requirements:

What is the change:

1. Required minimal Unit Trust subscription or Online Equities cumulative buy trade volume is revised to S$30,000.
2. Bonus interest will be awarded when you maintain your investments for the full 6-month holding period.
3. You will not be eligible for bonus interest for remaining months if you redeem the Unit Trust or Online Equities any time during the consecutive period of 6 months. Interpretation: You will be paid only after the 6mth period, only for mths you hold it. It can also be interpreted as you will be paid mthly until the mth you redeem but unlikely. (edit: this is more likely based on email notice Dec 5)

Will the bank allow your Dec or prior investments to qualify under the new tnc?

As the bank have not released the full tnc, they can still change/refine details until 31 Dec 2025, based on all the queries they received. Whatever you get in written reply might still be affected?

At your own risk!

(not vested, I just received "interest" from gov!)

I also have not gotten. Good to know it's not our fault.
Just received a Receipt Withdrawal Confirmation email. Went to check and it is for credit of the 50 STI ETF shares, with transaction date 3 Dec. It should show up in equities portfolio soon.

Also, the $30 extra referred cashback is still not in yet..
