I have a question on Corp Sec. What is the purpose of their role and market rate?

Corp sec role was to maintain & assist the company to meet all the statutory filing requirements given by ACRA. Usual rates will between $600-$1200 per annum.

You need to decide on the financial year. Preferably, within 12 months of incorporation date to max the benefit of 3 years' tax exemption on first 100k.

Cheaper is to find a service provider who can provide all in one secretarial, tax and accounting services, including preparation of financial statements required by the Companies Act. Some service providers will subcontract part of the job which they are not familiar enough, and hence the fee may be higher.
