hi, i have book a hotel via booking.com for my japan dec trip . do we need to double check with the hotel on the reservation that booking.com done for me? will there be chances that i arrived at the hotel and they found no record of our reservation?tia

So far all the bookings I have made online have been fine without having to double check. That includes Booking.com. No harm writing to the hotel if you are really worried.

So far nothing cocked up even while booking the tiniest of hotels using booking, agoda, hotel.com
