Booking flight ticket with expiring passport?

Will that be an issue?
As some airlines require customers to key in the passport no.
But have yet to renew passport due to using it for upcoming trip.

When u check in, u have to input ppt details when U check in online.

Sometimes even I update upon check in online, the airline still print my previous ppt

I call n ask, airline say nehmind

u can contact the airline to update ...
or u can go to the counter and they would assist u ...
