Apple today has officially released Boot Camp drivers for Windows 10

to get this update, i met with alot of hurdles.

1) in mac osx, app store does not update bootcamp assistant to version 6.0. currently i'm still using the 5.1 version.

Qn: doesnt it mean that my bootcamp assistant should be updated as well?

2) in windows 10 pro, "apple software update" detected no update at all. I had to rely on my bootcamp assistant in mac osx to download the latest driver and store it in the USB.

So from the USB, i updated the bootcamp from version 5.1 to 6.0.

Qn: Why apple software update doesnt detect the update?

3) Just when i thought the nightmare was over, another surprise came..... The resolution of my windows 10 pro got better, images and everything became sharper, but at the same time, everything became smaller.

Qn: WHY DID APPLE TRY TO MAKE THINGS LOOK SHARPER ON WINDOWS 10 PRO, BUT AT THE SAME TIME SHRINK ALL THE ICONS AND TASK BAR SMALLER UNTIL ITS HARD TO CLICK SIA!

any input is welcome.. :D

Windows 10 doesn't support retina display hence the extremely small icons.

but the previous version of bootcamp (5.1 build 5640) works fine on windows 10. only the latest bootcamp drivers will make the windows 10 resolution better, yet harder to see..

Try right click on the desktop, choose "display settings" and "Change the size of text, apps and other items:" to something bigger?
