Hi guys,

Would just like to check which platform you guys prefer. I have to use Windows for work on my MBP and was wondering if I should get Parallels or just install via Bootcamp.

Thanks!

Do bootcamp and use parallels to open your bootcamp partition whenever you need it.

If its for work, you'll probably find Parallels more useful as it allows you to open a virtual window within OS X. While I doubt you can cut and paste between OSes but at least you can have the 2 OSes running side by side so to speak. Useful if you have to reference or compare things.

For gaming, go for Boot Camp. When you boot up in Boot Camp all your available memory is used by Windows. When you run in virtual mode i.e. Parallels, memory is required for OS X as well as your virtual OS.

You can cut and paste in parallels :) from OSX into parallels virtual machine.

I'm using parallels so that's why if you want best of both world. Do bootcamp and boot it up in OSX using parallels whenever you need, if you wish to play games then bootcamp.
