Boracay Regency's a good choice. Some friends stayed there and they were all praises for the buffet spread. :p

Me, I stayed in its sister hotel -- Boracay Garden Resort. Got a free upgrade on check in. lolz. Service was good. Place was clean and the location was very good (right beside Shakey's Pizza).

I think Oct is considered low season.. so you should be able to get very good hotel rates (a friend got 40% discount at Boracay Regency as far as I can remember)

:Later,

I prefer station 2 as it is near the D'Mall ( shopping Mall )? And also I checked on some website, station 2 hotel the cheapest? Or is it station 3?

hi guys...

i am looking to go to boracay.. the main reason why is to try out kite surfing...

the time frame is very flexiable...

it seems that cebu-pacific are the only ones that fly direct... right? i want to fly direct to save the hassle of getting on and off plane...

any good advise on where to stay and which school to go to take up kite surfing...

much appreciated..!!!

Yes. Cebupacific air. So far for the past 3 yrs I been to the php, most of the time I booked cebupacific air, only twice is by silkair. Cebupacific never delay my flight at all. :s13: Not even once. :s12:

Boracay Regency and Boracay Garden Resort are both in Station 2. The latter is closer to D'Mall... probably about 5 minutes walk or so.

Thinking of going this July.
Any updates on the place since it's been 1 year from the last post?

I went there last oct, stayed in station 3 Surfside Resort. Japanese owner and boss always around to help his staff. More quiet and less ppl movement. U can put your belongings near the beach, no need to worried got ppl take away. Now got direct flight but SEAir .... I don't trust this airline. Always flight delay or cancel in php.

I’m thinking to make a trip to Boracay, is it safe to travel alone? Any budget airline to recommend?
